Say what you need to say
Without spending another week rehearsing it in your head
Bring the conversation you keep avoiding. In one live hour, you’ll learn the three Speak Up Skills and which one you need to work on so you can stop spinning about it and have it out loud.
One hour, 2 options to join me
I learned more in this workshop than I have in a year of therapy. My husband and I are becoming empty nesters, and I've worried we've lost our connection. I've ruminated about how to reconnect for six months. Now I know what to do next.

“If I'm so smart, why can't I just say it?”
You are capable and good at figuring things out. People rely on you to get shit done, and you do it all day long.
And yet this messy conversation has you waking up at 2 a.m. or rehearsing what to say on your commute.
You know how to do hard things. If this conversation were for your kid, your client or a friend you’d have said it by now.
So you start trying to figure out how to make the conversation feel safer.
You wonder if you're overreacting. You run it by someone else. You wait for them to be in the right mood. You try to predict how they'll respond and how you'll handle it.
Meanwhile, you’re using up valuable time and energy and nothing gets addressed. And sometimes, the very thing you're trying not to make worse gets worse anyway.
Knowing how to have this conversation confidently comes down to three skills
In this free live workshop, I'll teach you the three skills that need to be in place for you to speak up honestly when something feels risky.
The three Speak Up skills
There are three places where hard conversations tend to get stuck. Where are you getting tripped up?
Stop debating it
Do you spend more time deciding whether you're justified in bringing something up than actually saying it? "That cost-benefit analysis running in your head has a name. I call it Good Girl Math." Learn what needs to change so “this isn't working for me” can be reason enough to speak up.
Say what you mean
Do you know what you want to say, but edit, soften, overexplain, freeze, or wait until you're so frustrated that resentment does the talking for you? Learn what needs to change so you can say what you actually mean without burning endless hours figuring out the “right” words or waiting for the “perfect moment.”
Trust yourself with what happens next
Do you spend hours trying to predict or manage how the other person will respond? Learn what needs to change so you can speak honestly, take care of the relationship, and trust yourself to handle whatever happens next.
You may recognize that you need to work on all three or that different skills trip you up in different relationships.
Show up with one hard conversation
Leave knowing what this conversation is already costing you, exactly where it breaks down, and the missing piece that makes speaking up possible

After attending the workshop, I called my ex with confidence and said what I needed to say. He didn't react the way I feared and we made a plan that moved the divorce forward instead of staying stuck. The questions you asked gave me the power to put my fear in perspective. I'm already using the framework for another conversation next week.

Thanks for your workshop and help with my coworker. The next time I saw her I said “I need to address your behavior. It's not okay with me that you treat me that way.” I was super nervous, but I said it, and she stopped.

Because of your coaching I was able to talk to my step-sister about the financial costs of our mom’s care and it went so much better than I imagined. Thank you!
