I know it takes some bravery to get on a consult call with a coach you barely know online—to talk about something as personal as people pleasing—to consider joining a program you don’t know much about (including how much it costs)—and feel pressured to make a decision on the spot.

You know the coach (me!) is going to try and “sell” you on the benefits of joining her program and you are interested, but not 100% convinced yet.

👉🏻 You are curious, but what if it gets awkward?
👉🏻 What if you can’t afford it?
👉🏻 What if you realize it’s not really what you want to spend money on right now?
👉🏻 Or worse- what if you realize you don’t really like the coach or the program? 

Cue awful dread in your stomach and massive discomfort.

Let’s make all of that easier right now.

I LOVE using the consult call as a tool for your liberation as well as mine.

>I’ve had consults where, instead of being honest about my thoughts, I just nodded along and appeared to be all-in, just wishing I could get off the call.

I do not want that experience for you OR for me.
So let’s not do it that way, ok?

How do we do that?

✅ We agree on the rules together and then show up to hold any discomfort together in a loving, generous space.

✅ I also give you a peek into what is going on in my head during the consult so you feel at ease.

Ready for the Rules?

Consult Rule #1.  You have full permission to use any of these sentences with me at ANY time during the consult.

...“Thanks for your time, this just isn’t what I’m looking for right now” 

...“Thanks for your time, this isn’t what I want to spend money on right now” 

...“Thanks for your time, I need some time to think everything through”

...“Thanks for your time, this isn’t a good fit for me right now.”

...“Thanks for your time, I think we are at a good place to end this call”

Because I want you to practice what I preach AND I want to be a safe place for practice.

I will 100% respect and even cheer you on for saying the words.
Because saying those words can be HARD.

Consult Rule #2: There is no pressure to make a decision on the call, ever.

My brain needs time to process information and I’m happy to give you all the time you need.  The only “deadline” is when we close enrollment for this current round (August 9th, 2024).

Consult Rule #3: I always tell you the price of the program within the first 10 minutes of our call.  Why?
Because that’s what my brain always wants to know and I assume yours does too.

>> Why not just tell us right now?
Great question, two reasons.

1. Because I want to tell you about all the tools you’ll learn in the 6 months, what the support will look like, the topics we will cover, the community you’ll get to be a part of and what your life will look like when we are done. I want to make sure that you know what you are saying “no” or “yes” to.

2. Because I always offer scholarship spots each round and I don’t want you to eliminate yourself from participating just because you see a number that feels too big.

Now, let’s take a peek into my brain:

Here are the thoughts I have about my potential clients during a consult.

...“I want to help this person as if they were my client right now.”

...“I want to make sure they know what the next steps look like in their journey to stop people pleasing.” 

...“I’m so honored they would give me some of their time- let’s make it worth it!”

...“I want to make sure they know exactly what the path looks like, how long it will take to make progress and what that progress will look like.” 

...“I want to make sure they have an accurate, inspiring vision of what their life could look like with less people pleasing!”

...“If they are a “no” that doesn't mean anything about me or them.”

My goals for a consult are these:

✨ One- that I get a chance to share the amazing program I’ve created with you and show you what a difference it can make in your life and...

✨ Two- that you have an experience where you can honestly share your “Yes! Sign me up” Or “No thank you!” with equal joy and honesty.

That’s how consults become a liberation tool for me AND you.
