Totally get it — talking to a coach you don’t know yet, about something as personal as people pleasing, can feel… intense. You might be wondering:
What if it’s awkward?
What if I can’t afford it?
What if I don’t like the program… or the coach?
What if I feel pressured to say yes when I really want to say no?
As a fellow recovering people pleaser, I don’t want that for you. Or me.
Here’s how I do consults differently:
Rule #1: You can say no—at any point.
I welcome any of these sentences during the call:
“Thanks for your time, this isn’t what I’m looking for right now.”
“I need some time to think everything through.”
“This isn’t the right fit for me.”
“I think we’re at a good place to end the call.”
Saying no is a skill worth practicing. This is a safe place to do that.
Rule #2: No pressure. Ever.
You never have to decide on the spot. I’ll always share when enrollment closes (for this round, it’s August 1, 2025)—but beyond that? Take your time.
Rule #3: I share the price early.
Within the first 10 minutes, I’ll tell you exactly what the program costs.

The classes are set up to rotate between teaching weeks (then you'll spend the week implementing) and the next week is open coaching (to work through anything that came up).

How to better understand yourself in terms of how you grew up (the roles that were assigned to you or that you took on, or taught about in each of the groups that you belong to).
How did you learn to get love and attention and connection and friendship and belonging by obeying those roles and rules?
We start with the foundation is because I have found that so many women tend to beat ourselves up and this builds the compassion we need to keep going.
After we lay the foundation, then we get into learning and practicing the tools that we really need to be able to stop.You'll learn:
How to work with your inner child.
How to understand your attachment style.
How to have your own back.
How to say exactly what you want to say.
How to want.
How to trust yourself.
How to complete the stress cycle that we're in every day and end the burnout.
How to manage your time.
How to have difficult conversations.
It's a really beautiful schedule that allows you to learn, then practice, then evaluate, come back for some help, and then get some more practice. -
Not at all. The Facebook group is an opportunity for you to receive written coaching anytime you need it in between those class sessions. Not everyone likes Facebook and that's okay!

The 1:1 coaching call was the best! My biggest takeaway was how common this problem is. I loved hearing others be coached also. Something important I learned was to let go of some of my black and white thinking. It was also great to learn by example: both what Sara shared from her own life and from other students.

I most valued having a dedicated space each week just for me. As a coach myself, I'm holding space for others all day long, and it's a gift to have Sara hold space for me. I'm becoming someone more capable of naming, experiencing and processing my emotions. After taking this course, it's much more possible to have self-compassion. This class came at just the right time for me. After taking this course, I now see the many ways women are taught to be people pleasers. I notice it now in movies, books, and everyday life. My biggest takeaway was the “pause” statements to give me time to decide what I really want to do.
